the families of the fallen marines in carolina. >> a tragic story. thank you, pete. >> president obama is on his way to israel for his first visit since becoming president. he left late last night and will land about an hour from now. elizabeth has more. >> the president arriving in israel this morning making his first official visit there since taking office. it's a long-awaited trip with a 3 day agenda that hopefully includes talks of negotiation. the administration has not set expectations too high for the american people white house press secretary jay carney says policy built around the notion that israelis and palestinians need to have direct face to face discussions. many in the united states can't force negotiation or a solution. the u.s. is a player in the

process. >> the president will visit israel with a message about the enduring relationship between the united states and israel, about the unshakeable commitment the united states has to israel's security. measured not only in the amount of assistance but in the strong bonds that our people share. >> president obama will meet with israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu where he will reiterate the united states is preventing iran from getting a nuclear bomb. he will discuss means of maintaining civil war. he will fly to the west bank where he will have separate talks with palestinian president mahmoud abbas. the ambassador going on the record to discuss what he thinks is the reason behind the

president's trip. >> i think it allows president obama to check the box that he finally made it to israel. it's significant it comes after the american election. he goes to israel on his terms while the visit will be heavy with symbolism and opportunities this is a rare trip in which the substance of the visit will be divorced from the symbolism. i don't think there will be any fence mending on this trip. president obama comes with two messages one make more concessions to the palestinians and two don't think about attacking iran's nuclear weapons program. if people could hear the conversation that president obama and prime minister netanyahu are about to have i think the 10 percent rating would be even lower.

attack, guns and homemade bomb. >> disturbing end to a disturbing crime an ohio teenager who shot three high schoolers dead showing up to a sentencing with a t-shirt that read killer. he cursed at the judge as he gave him 3 life sentences. he admits opening fire to a 22 caliber hand gun last year. chemical weapons in syria would cross a red line. syria's government and acquisition are trading accusations regarding possible crossing of that red line. syria claims the opposition launched a chemical attack leaving 16 dead and dozens more injured. if any one used the weapons it would be president assad's regime. >> no evidence to substantiate the charge that the opposition has used chem kl weapons.

we are skeptical of a regime that lost all credibility. we would warn them about using preteches or cover for his use of chemical weapons. >> lindsay graham is calling for american troops on the ground in syria to secure chemical weapons sites. >> the house will vote over paul ryan's chairman plan. the plan will balance our nation's budget within 10 years. he is calling for $4.6 trillion in spending cuts reforming medior future generations and repealing obama care. democratic congressman rejected ryan's plan. his plan calls for $1.2 trillion f of new revenue. >> the statue of liberty will be open july 4th. it has been closed since super storm sandy hit last october. the statue was spared but water 8 feet high devastated around it

down and keep them in places where you always see them in your office, in your home maybe on your screen saver. if you are a sticky note person. take them to the printer. to me cookies and cream there they are. you want to keep them visual so you can stay focused on that. >> create a personal board of directors. what do you mean by this? >> personal board of directors or a growth people. people are finding a lot of value in this because it works. maybe 4 to 6 people. two or three that are a little bit older than you. they have more life experience more career experience. they can tell you some of the stories they have gone through that can be helpful. two or three people in your age bracket similar type of a job they are going through the same things. these should be people that want to encourage you, build you up but give them permission to give constructive criticism and share area where is they think you could improve. >> accountability partners. >> someone from your church,

cleveland. well below average. we are talking some of these temperatures being up to 20 or even 25 degrees below what's normal for this time of year. the colder temperatures are actually in place across northern parts of minnesota, wisconsin and also eastern parts of the great lakes. in texas a beautiful day 70 for the high temperature. in dallas beautiful temperature wise. 78 in san antonio and los angeles looking at high temperature of 69 degrees. we a window across the midwest. that will make things feel colder than what the thermometer reads. take a look at the current windchill temperatures. 16 degrees below zero in far go and 19 degrees be low in mine not. you need to bundle up even thooes the first day of spring. in maine 8-14 inches of snow expected 6-12 off of lake ontario we have lake-effect

it is just doctors are better at diagnosing it. patti anne? >> ainsley, spring starts today. with it allergy season. we wanted to de bunk some common allergy myths give you the fact and the fiction. fox medical a team dr. mark seigel. thank you for joining us. first of all you will outgrow your allergies, is that true or false? >> that is the number one myth. especially hey fever. very people actually outgrow it. 99 percent still have it but 35 percent it improved. so over the years you can get better with it but you don't get rid of it. >> all right. secondly. regular injections can ease allergies. is this fact or fiction? >> that a totally true patti anne. they use them a lot in europe. they are good with inspects allergy alabamaler gees and insect bites. they are good for hey fever.

you should consider allergy shots if you have a bad version of it. but you need an allergist to do it and they need to do it in the right way. >> it is called immunotherapy. if you don't have allergies as a child you don't have to worry you won't get allergies? >> that is fiction. you can get allergies with either one food something around the house. people that move. people that change what's going on in their bedroom they change their sheets, comforters they tend to pick up dust allergies they can get allergies to mites. you can get allergies as you go along. >> if you have them as a kid they go away they can come back. >> they can recur. you can have allergies that you had as a kid. you don't get them you can get them later on. >> kind of depressing. >> some people think it's the hair on the pet that is analler again. >> it's not the hair it's more bad news because you can't get a

short haired poodle and think you are in the clear. it's in the skin, in the urine on the cat. it's the protein but not in the hair. you can't really predict oh it's all that fur. >> a lot of people do they will get a hairless cat. >> they are wrong. they can have the same allergies. >> lastly unfortunately allergies don't kill. that is not true. >> we saw that this week that unfortunate 19-year-old child who ended up dying from eating half a cookie. that's really rare. something called anaphylaxis, 1-15 percent of the population at one percent of the time it can kill. it's a huge outpouring of a hormone. you have to be on the lookout for that. people that are prone for it carry something called an epi pen that they can inject themselves with if it's happening. i don't want viewers to think they are going to get this but it can happen.
